FAQ
Frequently asked questions
01 What happens if I miss my check-in?
You'll get push notification reminders as your deadline approaches. If your grace period (12, 24, 48, or 72 hours — you choose) expires without a check-in, SoloGuard automatically sends an email to your emergency contacts with details on when you were last active. They don't need to install anything.
02 Do my contacts need to use SoloGuard?
No. Your emergency contacts only need an email address. If you miss your check-in, they receive an email alert. There's no app or account required for them.
03 Is my data private?
Yes. SoloGuard only collects what's necessary: your check-in times and your emergency contacts' email addresses. No location tracking, no social features, no data selling. Your safety, your terms.
04 Can I pause check-ins (e.g. on vacation)?
Yes. Pause mode lets you take a break for vacations, travel, or any time you don't want to check in. Your contacts won't be alerted while pause mode is on.
05 Which platforms are supported?
SoloGuard is available on iOS from the App Store, with Sign in with Apple for fast, private authentication. The app is designed for quick daily use with a clean, minimal dark interface.
